Mobile Toilet Implementation (Mawlamyine City, Mon State, Myanmar)

Implementing a mobile toilet in Mawlamyine City involves many steps, from design to maintenance. Factors such as population density, existing toilet facilities, and sanitation availability are considered. The design of the mobile toilet focuses on durability, easy of cleaning, and accessibility for all users, with appropriate waste disposal systems. We test the mobile toilets to ensure they function properly and meet sanitation standards. A maintenance and cleaning schedule ensures the mobile toilets remain in good condition, involving tasks such as emptying waste tanks, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies like toilet paper and hand sanitizer. It’s crucial to evaluate the impact of the mobile toilets on sanitation and public health in the target area. This project engages with the local community to raise awareness about sanitation importance and proper toilet use, providing health education and training on maintaining the mobile toilets. Through the implementation of mobile toilets, we believe our project addresses the needs of the target population.
